At the lop turn Moulu was in the lead, with Nones, Ro.ke's Drift and Magdala handy. Marc Antt ony began to improve his position, but received a bump which caused him to lose grout d. At a mooting of the board of the New Zealand Trotting Association, in connection with tlie Georgo Berlin cose, Alexander Dawes, the owner, and A E. Hall, the breeder, were disqualified for life. It was decided to endorse the action of the Auckland Trotting Club in regard to tho Liverpool Handicap at tha autumn meeting. Mr. Nicoll referred to the case of a trainer, taid to have been guilty of making disloyal utterances, and it was decided to instruct the Licensing Committee to inquire into the case immediately, and to cancel the license if the allegations we;o found to be correct.
