GOES TO PICTURES AT 102. Napoleon had not yet received the deathblow to his ambitions at Waterloo when Mrs. Lambert, who has just celebrated her 102 nd birthday, was bom. The old lady, who lives in Edmonton, England— in which district she has resided for the past 90 years still hale and hearty. Three months ago she experienced an accident, but is now quite recovered, notwithstanding her rcmarkablo age. Mrs. Lambert can recall the time when it cost lid to buy a sheet of writingpaper, and Is 6d to send a letter abroad. Of all the many inventions in recent years that whifth interests her most is the cinematograph. Picture palaces have an extraordinary fascination for her, and she makes frequent visits to the local shows. There are now five generations of her ..family, a daughter's daughter's daughter having recently given birth-to a child. She has seven daughters, twenty grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and the great-great-grandchild—truly a notable record. •
