PRISON ADMINISTRATION. SATISFACTORY REPORT. By Telegraph—Press Association— Sydney, March 3. In the annual report on the State prisons, the outstanding features aro decreased punishments, increased industrial output, the value of the labour performed, , and the reduction of the cost of administration. SUGAR CROP FOR 1910, t Brisbane, March 3. The superintendent of the sugar experimental station estimates that the' 1916 crop will produce 180,000 tons of sugar. EXPORT OF GOLD. Melbourne, March 3. The Commonwealth Treasurer has decided to permit the limited export of gold. EMBARGOES TO BE RAISED. Sydney, March 3. Replying in the New South Wales Assembly to questions regarding stocks of bran and pollard, the Minister for Agriculture stated that millers would like to find buyers. The Government proposed to raise all embargoes and permit the export of produce anywhere rather than restrict it in the way suggested. \
