SIR SAMUEL WAY. By Telegraph—Pres» Association— (Received January 11. 1 a.m.) Adelaide, January 10. The Right Hon. Sir Samuel James Way, Chief Justice of South Australia, is dead • aged 80. Sir Samuel Way, who was born at Portsmouth, liad been Chief Justice of South Australia since 1876, a year after he occu6 led the position of Attorney-General. Ie was appointed Lieutenant-Governor in 1891. and administered the' Government of the State ten times, beside* frequent short periods of office during ib'sences of the Governor.
