TWO HOUSES DESTROYED. [BY TELEGRAPH. COESZSPOXDEST.J Dabgavtlle, ' Monday A fere broke out in the narrow roadTaJ leading from Hokianga Road to Portland Street, • at midnight yesterday. T*o houses, occupied by Mr. Prohl and MrBowler, were wholly demolished. The cause of the outbreak is unknown. Mr. Prohl lost all his effects, which were insured for £100 in the Australian Alliance Office. The contents of Mr. Bowler's residence were saved. The buildings wera part of the DargaviUc Estate, each insured for £125 in the National Aisuranca Office.
