BARLONG INCIDENT.
CHARGES DENIED.
(Received October 12. 5.5 p.m.)
London, December 11.
The Press Bureau states that the circumstances of the destruction of the German submarine and the crew by the Barlong in August are now the subject of communication between Britain and America, and therefore the Admiralty does not propose to make a public statement at present, beyond repudiating Dr. von Bethmann-Hollweg's unwarranted charges.
