At the conclusion of play at the Takapuna Bowling Club's green, on Saturday, the president, Mr. W. Blomfield, on behalf of the crib, presented a Bet of pipes and a pouch to Sergt. Ralph Jackson, of the Tunnelling Corps, who will shortly leave for the front Mr. Blomfield referred to the valued services rendered by Sergeant Jackson to the club, of which he has been a member since lt-i commencement, and expressed the hope that the members would have the pleasure of welcoming him back in good health and strength. The recipient made a modest response.
