Wellington*. Sunday. The funeral of the late Ren. John Duthie took place at the Karcri Cemetery yesterday morning. -At the request of the deceased the ceremony was private, and only a few personal friends, including Sir Francis Bell, Leader of the Legislative Council, and the Hon. J. G. W. Aitken, were present. The Rev. J. McCaw, of the Hutt. officiated, assisted bv the Rev. J. Paterson.
