The Japanese Consul-General has written to the Trade Expansion Bureau with a. view to bettering trade conditions between Australasia and Japan., He is asking the bureau to advise him of any cases where goods are. delivered below sample or where obligations have not been faithfully kept by Japanese merchants. He adds that it is the earnest desire of the Japanese Government that trade relations with Japan should be without reproach, and that Australia may rely upon his Government to discourage all attempts to act in a contrary manner.
