INDIAN TRADE.
DEVELOPING ENTERPRISE. GOVERNMENT AID SOUGHT. (Received September 29. 12.5 ».m.) Bombay, September 27. Indian merchants seek direct Government aid in the development of Indian trade enterprise, to replace Austro-German goods, and to counteract the efforts of the Japanese, who, during the past year, have dumped enormous quantities of their wares in India. Otherwise, the merchants contend, India's industrial independence will disappear.
