' The" - body could not" he identified, but evidence -l-V, given led to the belief that the remains i?s were those of Alfred Arthur Austin, an •'-■'■ [ assistant chemist, who disappeared on May 116, 1914. Austin was a married man, liv- : r> ing in South Dunedin, and the last seen :: of him was at Port Chalmers one Saturday evening.
