The Daily Mail reprints this morning a forecast of the Budget which appeared in the Hamburger Fremdenblatt two days before Mr. McKenna's delivery of his speech in the House of Commons. The article gave a correct forecast of the increases in the income tax and the taxes on tea and tobacco.
