MINERS' WAGES.
INCREASE GRANTED. London, September 14. Lord St. Aldwyn has awarded the miners a 12.]. per cent, increase in wages.
It was reported a week ago thai, the South Wales Conciliation Board had endorsed the agreement arrived at as the result of the settlement betlween the mineowners and men. The latter then demanded a 124 per cent, advance in wages. The owners offered a 5 per cent, increase. Lord St Aldwyn arbitrated in the matter-
