BULLDOG CLUB.
— ♦ ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of *he National Bulldog Club of New Zealand was held last night. Mr. A. L. Desgranges presided, and there was a good attendance. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. Thirteen new members were elected. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—Patrons, the Hon, A. M. Myers, Messrs. J. Dickson, M.P., E. Davis, and «J. Adams; vice-patrons, Mesdames Desgranges, F. C. Barber, and J. Smith; president, Mr. A. L. Desgranires; vice-presidents. Messrs. Marsden Caughey, «T. Brigham, F. C. Barber, F. E. Watson, Nauchton, and S. Coldicut-t : committee, Messrs. F. C. Barber, C. F. Burns, J. Smith, A. Moore, O. Moore, J. Hill, and R. H. Shepherd ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. S. H. Pitkethlev ; veterinary surgeon, Dr. W. C. Ring. It was reported that the club had arranged to present five special prizes for bulldogs for the next show of tie Auckland Kennel Club. The club decided to hold a parade of bulldogs on the first Saturday in January.
