A free organ recital was given by the city organist, Mr. Maughan Barwtt. in the Town Hall yesterday afternoon. The usual large number of children were present, while a number of adults were also amongst the audience. Mr. Baxnett's most popular item was undoubtedly " In the Halls of tie Mountain Kins," from . "Peer Gynt Suite." The organist's rendering of Greig's well-known descriptive Ejection was loudly applauded. Another popular item was Adam's "Si J'etais Box," while other items on the programme were "Romance and Finale from Sonata de Camera" (Peace), " Andantino" (Cesar Franck), and "Death of Ase."
