ROCKY NOOK CLUB.
• A very enjoyable evening was spent in the Rocky Nook Bowling Club's pavilion, the occasion boing the annual presentation of prizes. The president, Mr. J. W. Butler, wsls in the chair, and there was a very satisfactory attendance of members. ? The winners of trophies Championship, F. J. H. Elhsdon; club fours, T. Napier. L- Randall, Phil Smith, and J. Wakerley; club pairs, W. Cunningham and Geo. L,. Wadding: handicap singles. H. Aspden; first-year players' championship, T. A Gentles; Ring's birthday tournament, H. Rath bone and W. H. Jeukin. The matter of fitting up a convalescent homo for our returning wounded troops was discussed, and it was decided to give the movement the heartiest support. Musical and elocutionary hems were con . tributed by Messrs. Cranston. T. Garland. \V Rutledge. Cross, W. Gladdin*. D. Middleton, 0. Edwards G. Champion. J. W'teley. and G. Gladding.
