RUSSIAN RETIREMENT STILL TO CONTINUE.
LINE OF RESISTANCE NOT YET DISCLOSED. I • I Petrograd, August 25-. - It is authoritatively stated that the Russian retirement will be continued with deliberation and tranquility until the forces have reached 'an undisclosed position upon which it has been decided to make a firm stand. It is admitted that the Russians are resisting on the Vilna-Grodno-Bielostok line only until the evacuation is completed.
