QUEUES OUTSIDE HOTELS.

EFFECT OF NEW HOURS. London. August 20. Under *ii'- Defence Act, the hotels at, Glasgow did not open before four o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday. One football club advanced the time of starting its matches in order to make half-time synchronise with the opening of the hotels. The result was that long queues were waiting outside the hotels.
