EXPORTATION FORBIDDEN. ißeceivcd August 27. 10.10 t>.m) Melbourne, August 27. The Minister for Customs, Mr. Tudor, has refused application for permission to ship 30,000 carcases of mutton to Britain on a private account. He states that while the prices of meat are so high locally, he is determined not to allow export, except in some cases for the Imperial Government.
