COLONEL SOULT.
I learn from Mr. W. Casey, one of the partners in the ownership of Colonel Soujt, that it has been definitely decided to send the brown, gelding across to Sydney with a view to fulfilling engagements at. the Australian Jockey Club's Spring Meeting. It was hoped by the owners of Colonel Soult that matters would so shape themselves as to allow of the horse being placed on shipboard next Monday, but owing to trouble with, the crew_ of the s.s. Victoria, the departure of which vessel was originally fixed for that day, a forced postponement is made necessary. F. J. Macmanemin will not make the trip to Sydney with Colonel feoult. and on the horse's arrival in Sydney he. will go into P. Nolan's estab-i lishment, arrangements having been J made with t,!« Sydney trainer to put trie finishing touches v, the Colonel's preparation. 1 [
