PROPOSED MILK FACTORY. . [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Ralmerston North, . Sunday. ' It is stated on good authority that a well-' known milk manufacturing 1 company- has purchased several acres of Mr. ,H, Waldegrave's farm at Awapuni, two miles from Palmerston, and that it is its intention to establish large manufacturing works on the site. The ' negotiations for the property have been in progress for. some time past and having been completed it means that Palmerston will, in the near future, have a large industry in its midst, employing a good many hands and requiring large quantities of raw material.
