GOVERNMENT DEFEATED.

MAJORITY FOR M. VENIZELOS.

Athens, June 15.

The Greek elections have resulted in the return of 191 supporters of M. Venizelos, the ex-Premier, who advocates Greek intervention, on the side of the allies; 100 supporters of the Gounaris Government, which was formed after the resignation of M. Venizelos in March last; and 23 members of other parties.

The above is the correct rendering of the cable message which appeared in the Herald yesterday stating that 100 sup?orters of SI. Venizelos had been returned, 'he Greek Parliament, known as the Vouli, consists of 314 members, the representation having been increased since the [ accession of new territory to Greece as a I result of the Balkan War.
