GERMAN NAVAL ACTIVITY.
CAPTURE OF A STEAMEB. MINES NEAR WHITE SEA. (Received June 17, 10.30 p.m.) Stockholm, June 17. The mail steamer Snorsten, bound from Gothenburg to England, was captured and conveyed to Swinemunde, a Prussian seaport in the Baltic. The British steamer Arndale, coalladen to Archangel, was mined southward of Cape Orlov. Three of the crew were drowned. Many mines have been seen at the entrance to the White Sea.
