The* people of Auckland Province have been most liberal in their support of the various patriotic and relief funds, and the latest appeal for funds to equip the New Zealand hospital ship, and to ensure ample provlsiwi for the needs of wounded New Zealanders after their return from the front, is meeting with the response which it merits. The contributions to the Heh aid Fund are coming in freely each day from all parts of the province. There is still need for more money, as much as can be subscribed. The Herald Fund now totals £5642 4s 10dj the sum of £294 -Os 5d having been received on Saturday. . , Amounts of Is and upwards may be sent by post to the Herald, . or may be paid in at the Herald Office, Queen Street,' Auckland, where a list has been placed. An amount of £3 17s 6d, the proceeds of a concert held at St. Peter's parish hall, Onehunga, acknowledged on Saturday as a donation to the Herald Hospital Ship Fund, should have been mentioned instead in the Herald Servian Relief Fund.
