Petkograd, May 10. An official ooramunique states:—"ln West Galicia, after desperate engagements, the enemy crossed the Wisloka, near Krosno.

"The Russian offensive in the Shavli region of the Baltic provinces continued favourably. A Bavarian cavalry division and a regiment of Prussian Guards were routed on Sunday night. The pursuit lasted throughout the night. Several thousand prisoners were taken last week."'
