NUGGET OF 26ioz.
, FINDS AT DRIVING CREEK.

Coromaxdel, Tuesday. Ox the Hydraulic Sluicing claim, Driving Creek, there limp this week been obtained three nuggets, weighing 26Joz. BJoz, and 4Jny. respectively/ and about 30 smaller nuggets, from siuz down.
WATCHMAN. Tile manager of the Watchman mine, Thames, reports that during last week "oik mi the Middle Parallel reef in the main level was resumed on the north block. The reef is up to 6ft in width, but the values are low at present. Anoiler slope on the East Parallel reef was Parted, and strong dalvi of gold are to bo seen in the hangingwall portion. To determine the value and width of the Windfall reef crosscutling is in progress.
DOMINION. In the Dominion mine, Karangahake, th» manager states Ilia*, (he low- level crosscut is hem;: advanced for the purpose of intersecting the large ore body. A good channel of country i.i still being rated. Numerous quartz veins and mineral seams are still traversing the ground. The tunnel is now jn 1659 ft.
TALISMAN CONSOLIDATED. he dmdend already declared of Is per shaie v ill be payable on June 8 to all shaieholders in the Talisman Consolidated ('•old Mining Company, Ltd., who were registered on May 18.'
