NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that ft Local Bill, for the Division of the County of Raglan and the creation of a new County thereout to be named "Liverpool County," will bo presented to the House of Representatives at the ensuing Session. A Copy of such Bill is hereunder written: — NEW ZEALAND. 1915. No. LOCAL. AN ACT TO CONSTITUTE LIVERPOOL COUNTY. Whereas by Section 10 of " The Counties ,1908." it i* enacted that no new County shall be" constituted (save ... therein menl tioned) except under a special Act, and that no new County shall be so wnrtitnted as to contain parts only of any Road District or Town District And Whereatl it is. desirable to provide that a portion of the said County of Raglan shall be formed into a new County, to be called "The County of Liverpool Ibe it therefore enacted by . the General 'Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— 1. T.xa Act may be cited as the Liverpool and Baglan Counties Act. 1915. 2 Tia Act shall come into operation on the day of . 191 . 5. Th<) County of Liverpool is hereto constituted. It shall comprise that portioni of the County of Raglan particularly described in the First Schedule hereto. 4. The Boundaries of the County of Raglan are hereby altered, and shall be as described in the Second Schedule hereto. 5 The provisions in the Harbours Amendment Act. 1910, that the Electors of the Raglan County shall return One Member to the Auckland Harbour Board, is hereby repealed; in lieu thereof, it is hereby enacted that the Electors of the Counties of Liverpool and Raglan shall henceforth jointly return One Member to such Harbour Board, and the said Counties "hall bo an adjoining district for tho purposes .of the lastmentioned Act. This provision shall not take effect until the date of the first Election after the passing of this Act of a Member to such Board. 6. From and after the coming into operation of this Act. no local body other than the Liverpool County Council shah within th« limits of the County exercise any jurisdiction or authority over any roads, or over or in relation to an* matter or thing in respect »l which jurisdiction is conferred upon .County Councils under any Act. 7. Nothing herein contained shall affect the power of the Governor to proclaim any portion of the said Counties a Borough or Town District, 8. OJ The Government subsidy payable to the County of Raglan, .as hitherto constituted, shall be divided proportionate! v, according to the ratable value of the Counties of Liverpool and Raglan; (0) No greater amount of subsidy shall be paid in respect of the County constituted than would have been payable il this Act had not been passed. Commencing at the intersection of the north-west boundary of Allotment 60, Parish of Onewhero, with the Waikato River, thence on the east by the western bank ot the Waikato River to the Te Awa-o-te Atua, Stream, thence on the, south by the le Awa-o-te Atua Stream, thence by the south boundary of Allotment 9. thence by the south and south-west; boundaries of Allotment 6, thence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 17. hence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 167, thence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 205. thence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 10, thence by the south boundary of Allotments 119 and 192. thence by the west boundary of Allotment 192, thence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 193. all in tho Parish of Pepepe; thence by the south boundaries of Allotments 87 and 68, in the Parish of Whangape, thence by the east, south and west boundaries of .-•- Allotment 215 to the south-west corner of Allotment 171, in the Parish of Pepepe, thence by the south boundaries of Sections 5. 6. and 7. of Block XIV., Awaroa Survey District and 7. 8. and 9 of Whaingaroa Survey ' District, thence by the south-east and south-west boundaries of Te Akau No. B9 to the Tasnian Sea; thence on the West by the Tasman Sea; thence on the north by the south bank of ths Waikato River to the point of commencement. THE SECOND SCHEDULE. AMENDED BOUNDARIES OF RAGLAN COUNTY. Commencing at the mouth of the Te Awa-o-te Atua Stream, thence on the north by the Te Awa-o-te Atua Stream, thence by the south boundary oi Allotment 9, thence by the south and south-west boundaries of Allotment 6, thence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 17. thence by the south .and west boundaries of Allotment 167, thence by the south and west boundaries of , Allotment 205, thence by the south and / west boundaries of Allotment 10, thence by / the south boundary of Allotments 119 and *** 192. thence by the west boundary of Allotment 192. thence by the south and west boundaries of Allotment 193, all in the Parish of Pepepe; thence by the south boundaries of Allotments 87. and 88 in the Parish of Whangape: thence by the east, south and west boundaries of Allotment 215 to the south-west corner of Allotment 171, in the Parish of Pepepe; thence by the south boundaries of Sections 5, 6 and 7 of Block XIV.. Awaroa Survey District, and 7, 8 and 9 of Whaingaroa Survey District; thence by the south-east and south-west boundaries of *•' the Te Akau No.. B9 to the Tasman Sea; thence on the west by the Tasman Sea to the southern boundary of the Raglan County f. and thence on the east by the western banks of the Waipa and Waikato Rivers to the point of commencement.
