BRITISH OFFICERS' FATE.
IN SOLITARY CONFINEMENT.
London, May 8. In the House of Commons to-day, Sir E. Grey stated that he had been officially informed that- nine British officers in Cologne were suffering solitary confinement and were denied decent sanitary conditions. Their cells had a single window high in the wall.
