Bellamy was out deer stalking ir, Scotchman's Valley, Tauwhare, wi'h some anions. One of them mistook Bellamy for a deer and Hied ■ from a distance of 200 yards, and Bellamy ■ was shot in the back. He was conveyed • j with all haste to the hospital. The bullet has lodged in the muscles of his back.
