ODDFELLOWS' SPORTS.

AIX arrangements are well in hand for the band contest and sports which the Auckland district of the Manchester Unity of Oddfellows is holding in the Domain Cricket Ground on Saturday next. The programme will comprise the usual children's sports in the morning, and during the afternoon a national dancing competition will be provided for boys and girls 16 years of age and under. The quick-step contest for boys' drum and fife bands will begin at 2 p.m. and the quick-step contest tor brass bands will commence at 3.30 p.m. A sum exceeding £100 will be given in prizes for the quick-step contests.
