FIRE NEAR PAEROA.
LARGE BARN DESTROYED.
[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT. Paeroa, Thursday. A large barn at Tirohia, four miles from Paeroa, owned by Mr. Wiggins, was destroyed by fire last evening. Mr. Wiggins had about £350 worth of grass seed machinery, etc., in the barn, and Mr! Alexander had about £100 worth of seed in the building. There was an insurance of £200 in the New Zealand Office on the building, but there was no insurance on the contents. The loss is estimated by Mr. Wiggins at between £300 and £400.
