New Plymouth, Thursday. The neglect of Sunday observance was alluded to at the quarterly meeting of the New Plymouth Methodist circuit yesterday by a lay member, and a resolution was passed deploring the disregard of the Christian Sunday, as evidenced by the number of picnics and concerts hold, and the amount of sport indulged in on that day, and protesting in the interests of the young people especially against such desecration of the day sot apart for rest and worship.
