A correspondent states that it is considered in Petrograd that Enver Pasha's ambitious plans in the Caucasus completely failed. The maximum force Turkey is now able to a.s»?mble in the Armenian theatre cannot exceed 80,000. The sole course remaining to the Turks is to shut themselves in Erzerum and there die a valiant death, since it is impossible to expect help from any quarter.
