RAIN IN SOUTHLAND.
BENEFIT TO CROPS.
[BY ITLEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION-] Invercargill, Thursday. Very beneficial, warm rains have fallen throughout Southland. The rain will have a marked good effect on turnip and other crops. The district is looking* exceptionally well, and there is every prospect of a satisfactory harvest and good turnip crops.
