MISSING MERCHANTMAN.
ACTION WITH ENEMY.
BOTH BELIEVED TO BE SUNK.
London, November 16.
The overdue Houlder liner La Correntina, of 8529 tons, bound to Buenos Aires from Liverpool, which port was left on October 5, was armed, and it is suggested that she possibly engaged the German auxiliary cruiser Kronprinz Wilhelra, of 14,003 tons, and that both sank.
