The Magazine tunnel in the Kuranui mine, Thames, was advanced lift last week. The country was still firm, but had greatly improved, and was carrying nice mineral. A break was passed through, and was 6in wide. WAIOTAHI. Work at the Waiotahi mine, Thames, during the past week has been entirely confined to the cleaning up of the old battery for the purpose of recovering any gold lost during the many years of crushing.
