NEW METHODIST CHURCH.
LAYING OF FOUNDATION-STONES.
'Ihe ceremony of laying the foundationstones of the new Methodist Church in Dominion Road will take place to-mor-row afternoon at three o'clock. The ceremony will ho held in conjunction with the Methodist £ynod, which commences its session to-day, and the chief address will .be delivered by the Rev. George Bond, chairman of the synod. The Rev. C. H. Laws, superintendent of he .Auckland Methodist Central Circuit, -..ill ], reside. Three foundation-stones will he laid,' one by Mr. A. C. Caughey, another by Mr. ■■
F. C. Taylor of the t unders of the church—and the third by Mr. George Winstone, on ,behalf of the P.tt Street trustees. In addition to the address by the "Rev. George Bond, add;;. .-?cs will be delivered by the Kev. J. B. Suckling—in whose charge the new chu;\h v ill be — and by several other minifteis. Aiternoon tea will be provided at the < lo;e of the ceremony.
