HON. W. H. HERRIES AT KATIKATI. [BY TELEGEAPTT OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Katikati, Tuesday.
The Hon W. H. Hemes addressed a most enthusiastic meeting in the hall last night. Mr. Vesey Stewart presided. On the motion of Mr. Michael P. Welsh, president of the local Agricultural and Pastoral Association, the following resolution was unanimously adopted—" That this meeting desires to thank the Hon. W. H. Berries for his able address, and to cxpresu the fullest confidence in him as the district's representative, and in the Government of which he is a member." The resolution was seconded by Mr.-. ; Stackhouse, and declared carried by acclamation. ' " t ' :i. *
