BELLIGERENT GERMANS.
TROUBLE AT OCEAN ISLAND ARMED FORCE LANDED. (Received November 17, 12.5 a.m.) Sydney, November 16. The captain of a steamer from Ocean Island states that just before he left troops had been landed at the request of the British residents to keep the Germans in check. It was alleged that 40 Germans armed with rifles marched through the island and threatened to shoot anyone who interfered with their plans.
