AMERICAN MONEY MARKET.
BANKERS' STATEMENTS.
OBLIGATIONS ARRANGED.
(Received November 15, 7.30 p.m.)
Washington, November 14
American bankers have assured the British representatives here, in connection with the financial crisis affecting the United States, that all American obligations to Europe until the New Year have been satisfactorily arranged. It is considered likely that when the London Stock Exchange is reopened there will be a large dumping of American securities. It is suggested that the arrangement of a credit fund of twenty millions through the Bank of England would meet this. Such a fund, it is considered, would have a reassuring effect in London, and prove a strong support to the American market.
