RUSSIA'S CAMPAIGN IN GALICIA.

SUCCESSES EAST AND WEST. VIENNA PREPARES FOR THE WORST. (Received November 15, 7.30 p.m ) Petrogead, November 14. The Russians have occupied Tarnow, in Western Galicia, 50 miles east of Cracow. The Austrian Army is in retreat. While a small Russian force made a frontal attack on two Austrian divisions on the banks of the River Truth, in Eastern Galicia, close to the Roumanian border, the main Russian force, concentrated at Storozynec, cut off the Austrian*' retreat, and both divisions were annihilated. Vienna has been strongly entrenched, and is surrounded by high tension electric wires. The city is filled with refugees, and food is very dear, while supplies are dwindling. There is strong feeling against Germany, and it is predicted that the Viennese will seek tefrms of peace the moment the sound of Russian guns is heard.
