ACCIDENT TO A FIREMAN.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wanganui, Saturday. During a fire in Victoria Avenue last night a fireman named Eyles had the tendons of his left thumb severed by broken glass. He was taken to the hospital, where an operation was performed.
