BUGGY FALLS OVER BANK.
♦ DROP OF ABOUT FORTY FEET. OCCUPANTS' LUCKY ESCAPE. [BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Wellington', Sunday. While a party of four was returning to Johsonville late last night in a buggy the horse shied at a piece of fern blown across its face by the high wind.
The horse reared up, and, backing the trap over the bank, fell a distance of 40ft. The vehicle rolled over three times in the descent.
Charles Feilding, of Petone, had a leg broken, and was admitted to the hospital. Three others—Mash am, Angcll, and Dick— although they -were more or less injured, were extremely fortunate, and weTe able to proceed to their homes.
