LONDON WOOL SALES.
BUSINESS ANIMATED. ALL SORTS HARDENING. By Telegraph--Press Association— (Received October 11, 7.30 p.m.) London, October 10. The wool sales continued animated. All sorts show-id a hardening tendency. The following prices were realised lor fierce portions of New Zealand dips namedßee, top price ISid, average 12|d; Ohoko, top price 23d, average 2i|d.
Messrs. Dalgety ' and Company, Ltd., are in receipt of the following cablegram from their London office, under date October 8, 1914 —"Wool sales continue animated, except for faulty Merinos, which are often 20 per cent, lower; crossbred lambs' wool is 20 per cent. Nearer."
