\W v\ith warm water and soap, using a ail brush, afterwards polishing with * little furniture polish. Stains may be removed by sprinkling powdered borax on them, or in obstinate cases, rubbing them with a wet cloth in a solution of oxalic acid, after.first getting all grease off with soda and water. The acid must be used quickly and washed off, as if left it takes away the polish. j
