"FETE OF NATIONS."
The " Fete of Nations," which has been proceeding during the past week in the Town Hall, was brought to a conclusion, on Saturday. In the afternoon a special children's programme was submitted to an appreciative audience, and in the evening large crowds appla.uded the performers and transacted brisk business at the various stalls. It is hoped that there will be a considerable surplus to devote to the fund for relief of local distress or other patriotic purposes.
