NAVY LEAGUE.
The annual report of the Auckland branch of the Navy League mentions the visit of H.M.S. New Zealand to Auckland last year and the part that the league took in the reception. The report states that the executive hope that yachtsmen and motor-boat men will assist the league by taking juvenile mbmhrrs for cruises and so acquainting: them with the various anchorages and places of refuge in the harbour. ' During the war the league, it is pointed out, has b'lt little to do as far as its main object is concern-ed, but the report advocates a vigorous propaganda to prevent the Empire forgetting when the war is nv"r that England's Fleet is her all in all. Thf> annual meeting of the league is to be h"ld this evening at the office in Swanson Street.
