A British army division comprises 18,673 men and a cavalry division 9896 men. SECOND BRITISH ARMY NEARING COMPLETION. HALF A MILLION MEN FOR SERVICE ABROAD. London, September 17. Britain's second army of half a million men enlisted for service abroad is nearing completion. London's contribution to the force' consists of 70 000 men.
