A pf/cliar accident, attended with serious consequents to a married man named Loonaid McGhie, agtrf 30, occurred in the Akataraw.i Hush yesterday afternoon. Mcdhic had almost feLled a tree, when another that had been cut through by his mate fell across a vine stretched between the trees. The descent caused the vine to become taut, and McOhie's tree jumped from it 6 stump and pinned him by tho legs to the ground, fracturing both limbs. Before he could be released the log had to be sawn" through, an operation which occupied about two hours. The injured man is doing as well as can be expected.
