NAPIER CALENDAR. [lit telegraph.—press association.] Napier, Tuesday. The Supreme Court opened to-day before Mr. Justice Dennis ton, who congratulated the district on a light calendar (three cases), and the total absence of sexual cases. George Sharp, alias Edward Hall, pleaded guilty to theft, and was sentenced to three years' imprisonment. GISBORNE CASES. [bt TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] i GiSBonNE, Tuesday. William Johnston and John Robert i Marsh, who pleaded guilty to receiving i stolen jewellery, were admitted to probation for two years.
